My little man and me

There aren't that many of these so I had to share this one. Man, do I love this little guy.

Continuing on from a few posts ago where I shared the "babes" from that weekend, these are the two babes (and parents) from the next weekend. I love these two shots, similar but different.





I'll be sure to share more from all these sessions as the season starts winding down... I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel!

Hope your Thanksgivings were great! Hope I'm not the only one that felt like I needed to be rolled out of bed this morning. My husband and I were so bad... We came home and kept on eating!

Truly thankful

Thankful for too many things to count! God blesses our lives every day - with each other, with our kids, our love, with His love. Our friends, family, connections... A roof over our head, food on the table, jobs, talents and abilities, the fun things we do together.

And this is a very real photo of my kids... Not always picture perfect, but lovable, healthy and happy (usually). You know, these kids can really drive me nuts sometimes, but I can't imagine my life any other way. I like it just the way it is. Chaos and all.


And now I must get ready to fill my tummy with yummy turkey... I know it's going to be yummy because my husband is making it and he really is a fine cook.

Isn't she beautiful?

This is my good friend Jen from high school whom I am so lucky to keep in contact with even more lately through my photography. I've had the pleasure of photographing her cute little family twice this year.

I had the hardest time picking which photos to share because I really liked so many of them. I wish you could see them all! Aren't her boys beautiful?





The last time we did photos it was around her youngest's first birthday and this time it was around her oldest's third birthday. I love this shot of mom and son.


This is a new favorite of mine. Aren't the colors so rich and lovely?

This one was very poor, technically speaking, but I'm so glad I played with it because I love how it turned out.


I'm so glad they asked me to take a few shots of just them as a couple because often times I forget to do this. We are important too.


And although we got a couple other family shots, this is the one that stole my heart.

It was taken at that point where you just have to give up on trying so hard to get the kids to do what you want them to do and instead just go with the flow.
