Teasing Mom & Dad...

This little girl was adorable. She had the bluest, clearest eyes I have ever seen. She didn't care to have her photo taken so we never really got any smiles directed at the camera, even though the second one may "appear" that she meant to look at me. But I think what we did capture was truly her - quirks and all!

Little Dude's first haircut

We finally had to do it. As cute as it was, little dude's hair was sticking straight up on top. The top bothered me; the sides bothered Daniel. So here are a few photos from his first haircut at home. Daniel did a great job, despite his little client's effort to chew on the cord or wanting to turn around to see what was buzzing in his ear. Ethan did pretty well though.

So obviously, the "before" shot:




And the "after" shot. Suddenly, my baby boy is transformed. He looks more handsome than ever. Like such a little man! I was already starting to see those glimpses of the grown up Ethan, or at least the older boy Ethan. But now I'm seeing them more than ever.

For my sis!

I am proofing photos of my niece and just had to share with everyone the cutie-patootie face that I've been staring at this morning. Not a bad deal, huh? She is so beautiful... And yep!, if you're seeing a mischevious twinkle in her eye, you are reading her perfectly!

A couple February favorites

Going back through some photos and wanted to share these. They are two of my more recent favorites.

This one of Emma marks the beginning of her "Take picture of Emma" phase. Sometimes she begs me to take photos of her now. But when I do, or try to, she still doesn't understand that turning your back to the camera or moving at an extremely fast pace around the photographer just doesn't help the situation. She's getting there though. Maybe I'll have a willing model yet!

And our little Ethan... He really does look so little in this photo, even if it's only been a couple months since. He is just so darn cute!
